Doubles title for Tamarine
[TENNIS] Thailand's Tamarine Tanasugarn won a doubles trophy, but countrywoman Napaporn Tongsalee lost in her singles semi-final at the US$50,000 (Bt1.9 million) Chinese Women's Circuit tournament in Beijing yesterday.
Tamarine an partner Chuang Chia-jung of Taiwan bounced back from a first set defeat to beat Russia's Nina Bratchikova and Liga Dekmeijere of Latvia 4-6 6-2 6-3 in the doubles final. It was the Taiwanese girl's second doubles victory in a row after she teamed up with Napaporn to take the crown in Ho Chi Minh City last week.
