Danai breaks into top 100

Danai Udomchoke's dream of breaking into the top 100 players in the world will come true today after his victory in the US$25,000 Coffee Cup Challenger tournament at the Centenery Sport Stadium in Chikmagalur, India, yesterday.
Thai men's No 2 Danai, who made four first round exits before playing in India, beat Japan's Toshihide Matsui 7-5 6-4 to win his fifth challenger event trophy and earn $3,600 in prize money as well as 50 points, which will propel his world ranking from No 114 last week to about No 95-99. The 25-year-old will become the second Thai to reach the ATP's top 100 after Paradorn Srichaphan in 2002. The closest Danai has been to the top 100 was when he reached No 105 in February this year. - The Nation.
