The Election Commission has assigned a subcommittee to further investigate allegations that the Thai Rak Thai Party hired small parties to contest in the April 2 election, as results so far have been inconclusive, EC chairman Vasana Puemlarp said on Wednesday.

Senators ask attorney general to intervene in EC's trial on TRT

A group of senators has asked the attorney general to intervene in the Election Commission's investigation of the alleged hiring of small parties by the Thai Rak Thai Party to contest the April 2 election.
