Medical schools have unfilled

There are a total of 175 places still available at nine state medical schools for students who did not find out their O-Net and A-Net scores were high enough to enter the schools until the initial phase of the admission process was over.
A second phase for applications began on Thursday and ends tomorrow. Applications can be made directly at the website of the Central University Admission System (www.cuas.or.th), said Professor Arwuth Srisukree, the dean of Siriraj Medical School. Siriraj has room for another 30 students and applications can be made online at www.si.mahidol.ac.th. "If 500 students apply at our school, the 30 with highest scores will be selected," Arwuth said. The medical school at Khon Kaen University will accept applicants under the regional quota system while Chiang Mai University will consider direct applications. The Bangkok Metropolitan Administration's Medical College and the medical schools at Vajira Hospital and Tham-masat University will accept more students through the central university admission system. Applications can be made directly to the medical schools at Prince Songkhla and Srinakharinwirot universities as well as to those at Ramathibodi and Phra Mongkut hospitals.
