Pattnai bombs killed two women, one of whom is pregnant

Two women, one of whom was pregnant, and a soldier were killed and four soldiers injured after a powerful bomb went off on Wednesday, tearing up a military transport vehicle and ripped through a nearby teashop amid a growing fear that more violence are to come.
The bomb was placed on a motorbike that was parked next to the Unimog military transport vehicle and just five metres away from a teashop frequent by soldiers and police dispatched to the restive region.
The explosive sent off shrapnel as far as fifty metres away. Pool of blood was splattered in various locations where the injured had been standing.
Two women, one of whom was five-month pregnant, were killed at the scene while a soldier was announced dead at a hospital.
The front of the residential office next to the teashop was near total destruction. Shrapnel left the entire front of the office with hole at just about every inch of the surface.
The sodliers and the vehicle from Pattani-based Fourth Army Forward Command, were making their daily run to the local market for essential supplies.
The incident came one day after four people were killed and seven injured, including two soldiers in this province.
