Expo attempts to drum up visitors

The Commerce Ministry's Export Promotion Department is inviting food-related entrepreneurs and interested visitors to participate in over 20 seminars at "Thaifex - World of Food Asia 2006", to be held at Muang Thong Thani's Challenger Hall from May 17-21.

Director-general Chantra Purnariksha recently revealed up-to-the-minute information on more than 20 seminars to be staged at the event, involving issues like food safety, halal foods and supply procurement.
