Constitution Court to deliver verdict on April 2 election next Monday

Constitution Court is scheduled to deliver next Monday its deliberation on trials seeking nullification of the April 2 snap election.

Court's Secretary General Paiboon Warahapaiboon said that the judges will deliver their opinions known verbally on May 8 before issuing the court's verdict.

The Constitution Court on Thursday continued for the second day their deliberation on a number of cases filed by groups of people who claimed that the April 2 election was unconstitutional.

The deliberation came shortly after HM the King assigned the three courts; Constitution, Administrative and Supreme, to solve the political deadlock.
