Yuenyong aces in The Nation's event

Yuenyong Thamvijitdej on Wednesday shot a hole-in-one on the 17th hole of the Muang Kaew Golf Club to win the flight A gross score title in the fifth round of The Nation's Hole-in-One tournament.
The 39-year-old Yuenyong, playing with a handicap of five, finished with a magnificent six-under-par 66. Phum Gatekam was the flight A net score winner with a two-under-par 70, while second place went to Nukool Chaiworawitsakul, who posted an eight-over 80. In flight B, Suradej Puathawornsakul won the gross score title with an eight-over 80. Samart Aiyawarakul was the net score winner and Wanchai Kotekaew the runner-up. In Flight C, Surat Praisanguanphan took the gross score crown, while Olarn Gatephan won the net score and Mattaya Inkanart the second place. Phanthep Chalitaporn won the Lucky Draw award. All nine golfers will get a chance to participate in The Nation Swing Challenge in December. The sixth round of the competition will be held on May 24 at Muang Kaew Golf Club. The shot gun start is at noon.
