Hot favourite Tiew Pai Ngarm yesterday got off to a flying start with a 69-59 win over defending champions Hi-Tech in group A, while the Provincial Electricity Authority (PEA) routed Samut Prakan 105-46 in group B.

Meanwhile, Wat Noi Noppakhun Teachers and Parents Association trounced Bangkok University Basketball Club (BU Bas) 107-54 in Group B, while the Bangkok Bank team defeated the Chiang Mai team 87-42 in Group A in the women's category.

Today, in the men's division, Police will face Sirichai Oil in Group A, while Bangkok Bank take on SK Polymate in Group B.

In the women's event, Chiangmai University meet Kasem Bundit University in group A. The first match starts from 2pm.

After the round-robin matches, the top two teams from each group will play in the semi-finals. The winners will then battle for the crown, while the losers will play in the third-place play-off.
