CHUMPORN PALM OIL announced it would pay a dividend of 0.4 satang per share and a stock dividend at a 30-to-1 ratio on May 23 for last year's operations, with no tax exemption.
NATION MULTIMEDIA GROUP spent Bt3 million to set up a broadband joint venture with the Premier Group of Companies and Theptanyapa Co Ltd, with Nation owning 15 per cent, Premier 65 per cent and Theptanyapa the rest. The venture, Broadband Technology Service Co Ltd, has Bt20 million in paid-up capital.
TANAYONG disposed of 2,000 common shares in Changklanway Co Ltd at Bt150,000 per share for a total of Bt300 million. The shares, representing 30.3 per cent of Changklanway's paid-up capital, were sold to a group of investors with no prior relationship to the company, including CBD Development Co Ltd. Changklanway operates the Empress Chiang Mai Hotel, the Chiangmai Hotel, The Park Chiangmai Hotel and Downtown Inn Chiangmai.
TYCOONS WORLDWIDE GROUP (THAILAND) (TYCN) disclosed transactions with related parties, in particular machinery and equipment for specific plants. Tycoons Group International Co Ltd (TGI) and Tycoons Group Enterprise Co Ltd (TGE) sold machinery and equipment to TYCN for Bt94.52 million. TGE owns TGI outright, which in turn owns 76.31 per cent of TYCN.
