Do's and Don't's for the Senate election

With so many candidates registered for tomorrow's Senate election, voters might have a hard time making a choice.
The People's Network for Elections in Thailand has come up with a "Four Do's and Five Don't's" campaign to help voters decide.
The four do's: Candidates ... 1. Should be unrelated to and otherwise independent of politicians. 2. Should stay neutral, not siding with any political groups. 3. Should be untainted by corruption scandals and demonstrate morality. 4. Should be determined and courageous enough to scrutinise corrupt politicians.
The five don't's: Voters ... 1. Should not elect a candidate who is in the same family as any politician. 2. Should not vote for former ministers, or national or local politicians. 3. Should not choose a candidate who is involved with any politician, or who has ever endorsed or financially supported any political party. 4. Should not vote for a candidate who buys votes or offers or promises any benefits to voters. 5. Should not vote for a candidate who is unknown to the public or has no record of public service.
