Thailand A, comprising Thani Ruengsri and Winai Thonglai, who finished third in the World Footvolley League in Holland last year, defeated England 2-0 18-6 18-10) and Holland A 2-1 ( 7-18 18-11 15-4) in the UBC World Footvolley League 2006 at Jomtien Beach yesterday.
Thailand C beat Spain 2-1 (18-16 15-18 15-13). Thailand E beat Brunei 2-0 (18-10 18-4) and then lost to Brazil 2-0 (6-18 11-18) and Thailand B lost to USA 2-0 (16-18 15-18). Brazil blasted Thailand D 2-0 and also Thailand E 2-0 (18-6 18-11).In other matches, Holland A beat Malaysia won 2-0 (18-16, 18-8), USA defeated Singapore 2-0 (18-6 18-7) and Spain beat Holland B 2-0 (18-10 18-11).
