Three audio formats supported
The F-660A is a tiny but eloquent MP3 player from Taiwan-based manufacturer Soken Electronics. It measures only 46 x 31 x 13.5 millimetres and weighs only 22 grams. It could easily be worn around the neck using the necklace provided with the package.
The MP3 player supports three audio formats - MP3, Windows Media Audio and WAV. It is powered by a Philips PNX0101 audio decoder chip and features a high signal-to-noise ratio of more than 90 decibels. The F-660A has an FM tuner and voice recorder. It comes with a 256 MB flash memory. It can be plugged into a USB port using a fast USB 2.0 interface. It has a built-in 3.7 volt 200 mAH lithium-ion battery which can power the player for about eight hours. The Soken F-660A has a suggested retail price of Bt4,590.
