Thai Beverage posts flat sales

Liquor producer Thai Beverage Plc yesterday announced net profit for 2005 of Bt10.41 billion, or Bt0.47 per share, virtually unchanged from 2004's Bt10.42 billion and Bt0.47 per share.
The company said it would allocate Bt5.28 billion of its net profit to pay dividends. - The Nation.3 new projects Kanda Property Co Ltd plans to launch three new property projects worth Bt2.7 billion this year that will push annual sales up to Bt1.4 billion, 27 per cent higher than the Bt1.1 billion from last year. Managing director Issara Boonyang said its three new property projects would focus on the middle to upper market by offering housing at between Bt2-6 million that has strong demand in the market. The three new property projects include Siam Natural Home Rama II worth Bt500 million, Kanda Baan Rim Klong Rama II worth Bt1 billion and Kanda Park View worth Bt1.2 billion. - The Nation. -------------------------------------- Krung Thai flush Krung Thai Bank's president Apisak Tantivorawong said yesterday up to Bt66 billion in deposits flooded into the bank after it launched its special nine-month deposit account offering a rate of 4.25 per cent. The bank closed the nine-month deposit promotion on Friday when around Bt4.4 billion flowed in. Apisak said Krung Thai had around Bt70 billion in excessive liquidity which the bank would later invest in the repurchase market. - The Nation.
