TOT told again: Don't charge for 1133 calls

The National Telecommunications Commission said yesterday TOT Plc could not charge for its 1133 phone-directory service and suggested TOT ask for a new number if it wanted to provide a commercial information service.

The commission called TOT in to discuss the matter after banning it from charging customers for the 1133 service, but TOT refused to comply with the order.

The key role of logistics

The Thai Federation of Logistics, in cooperation with the Foreign Ministry, will organise the Thai-US Logistics Fair and Symposium 2006 from September 15-17 at the Novotel Suvarnabhumi Airport Hotel.

Suchart Chantaranakaracha, chairman of the federation, said yesterday the logistics industry was one of the key businesses that would be included in the free-trade agreement negotiations between Thailand and the United States.
