Latest Nokia models out for music freaks and biz geeks

Mobile-phone maker Nokia has introduced nine new multimedia models in Thailand to woo music freaks and business geeks.
The two models in the music category include the Nokia 3250, featuring the capacity to store about 750 songs, and the so-called jukebox phone N91 with a capacity to store about 3,000 songs. The five models in the business category are the N71, N80, Nokia 6280 slide phone, Nokia 6103, and Nokia 6125. The two models in what Nokia calls the enterprise category are the Nokia 6708 with pen-based touch screen feature, and the Nokia E60 with a wireless Internet connection function. Nokia Thailand managing director Bob McDougall said the 6280 model, which costs Bt16,690, is already available in the market. The 3250 model - which costs the same - will be available next week, and the 6103, at Bt8,390, will hit stores next week or next month. The other models, of which the prices have yet to be finalised, will be on the shelves next month. He added that demand for mobile phones fused with music players, digital cameras, and e-mail capacity in Thailand was on the rise. Nokia and its competitors have all expanded accordingly. McDougall predicted that makers would sell more than 8 million handsets combined in Thailand this year, up from about 7.9 million in 2005. Sirivish ToomgumThe Nation
