Hearing on Egat sell-off

The Supreme Administrative Court's hearing on the case of the stock listing of Egat Plc opens today.

The witnesses of both the plaintiff and the defendants will testify verbally to the court, after filing their evidence earlier. The court is to judge whether the privatisation of the organisation is lawful.

Abhisit to address protest

Democrat Party leader Abhisit Vejjajiva will address a rally at Sanam Luang at 5pm on Friday on government irregularities during the past five years and explain how Thaksin's administration had hurt the country.

PM rallies in the North

Prime Minister Thaksin Shinawatra will tomorrow launch his electoral campaign in the northern province of Chiang Rai.

He will later hold the weekly Cabinet meeting via teleconference from Phayao province.
