IN BRIEF
K-Tech wins Pearl revamp contract

K-Tech Construction has been awarded the Bt215.7-million contract for the Indigo Pearl Hotel project in Phuket.
The hotel, which will change its name from the Pearl Village Resort when it reopens in October, is hoping to gain a fifth star. It will have 290 rooms of five types, eight bars and restaurants, and three swimming pools. K-Tech established a presence in Phuket in 2002 when the company was awarded the Central Phuket Festival Project and other hotel projects on the island. Its backlog stands at about Bt5 billion and target turnover for 2006 is already secured. Puppy rewards in Year of the Dog Kimberly Clark Thailand has introduced its latest campaign, Scott Puppy Family Reward, which offers consumers six premiums on a puppy theme to entice collectors in the Year of the Dog. The company expects the campaign will maintain its 36.6-per-cent share of a market valued at Bt2.3 billion, said MD David Osborn.
