Spa eyes growth

Aromavera Spa Co Ltd expects sales to increase by up to 30 per cent this year from sales of Bt100 million last year. Seventy per cent of sales come from the export market, said managing director Dr Paiboon Pilanthaowat.
Aromavera currently has 10 branches in Bangkok and plans to open 10 new outlets a month until it hits its target of 100 by the end of the year, Paiboon said.
Car sales up 5% Passenger car and pickup sales in February hit 53,429 units, an increase of 5.8 per cent on January and 13.6 per cent on the same period last year, according to industry figures. Car and pickup sales for the first two months of the year totalled 103,883 units, up 5 per cent on the same period last year. Toyota topped the standings with 39,379 units, a 37.9-per-cent market share, followed by Isuzu and Honda.
Faith in furniture The Thai Furniture Association expects exports to achieve US$1.5 billion (Bt58.7 billion) this year, an increase of 10 per cent on last year, its president Wattana Charonawarat said. Major export destinations include Russia, Taiwan, Canada and Eastern Europe. Customers from these countries will visit "Furnitech Woodtech 2006 and Asean Fittings" between April 27-30 at BITEC, he said.
