Body to draft TOR for IPP

The Electricity Regulatory Board appointed a subcommittee to draft terms of reference for the second round of independent-power-producer bidding.
Sitting on the subcommittee will be the chairman, Deputy Attorney-General Chaikasem Nitisiri; Deputy Permanent Energy Secretary for Norkhun Sithipong; and representatives from many agencies, including the National Economic and Social Development Board and the Energy Policy and Planning Office. - The Nation. ------------------------------------------

Hotel discounts Thai hotels are offering big discounts of more than 70 per cent at the Thailand Tourism Fair being held at the Queen Sirikit National Convention Centre to Sunday. Some hotels are offering "buy one, get one free" deals when purchasing a room at the fair, while others have "buy one, get nine free" promotions, meaning the purchase of one room will result in nine free items, such as spa treatment and meals.
