Firecrackers lobbed into Chai-anan's residence

Two men on a motorcycle lobbed loud firecracker explosions on Thursday night into residence of Chai-anan Samutavanich, who rallied for a royal-appointed prime minister.

There is no reports of injuries of the explosions that took place about 9.15pm.Police rushed to the scene of attack, which is Chai-anan's residence inside Vajiravudh College in Dusit district. Chai-anan is headmaster of the college.

Chai-anan is a core in rallying for caretaker Prime Minister Thaksin Shinawatra to resign. He and other elites last week submitted a petition to HM the King to ask for a royal-appointed premier.

Chainan said the attack is believed to make a threat, without intention to cause any injuries.
