Thammasat petition : Drive closes with 78,000 names

Some 78,000 signatures were collected in a campaign to remove the prime minister initiated by Thammasat University Student Union last month. The drive closed yesterday as only 50,000 signatures are needed to launch impeachment proceedings. - The Nation.

Riot control: British officers training police
