The retail price for diesel will increase at least Bt0.30 per litre this week if the oil price in the Singapore market rises, said Bangchak Petroleum Plc's executive vice president Manu Siriwan.

He said that most oil refineries had started producing jet fuel instead of diesel due to a price discrepancy. That means the supply of diesel is lower than market demand, which means higher diesel prices. - The Nation.
