Digital media centre to cover business needs

To expand its business and jump into IP-communications technology, Metro Systems Corporation will set up Digital Media Centre to cover market and business requirements.

Bodin Parapagpenjun, executive director of MSC, said the Digital Media Centre will be a demonstration facility and a showcase that would integrate multimedia, communications and innovation technology, along with business applications, all through a single network, so business managers can make decisions and control advertising, promotions, conferences and marketing, using their office computers.

The firm expects the centre to be completed by the end of this year.

The company has also set up Business Communications Centre and Metro Centre Marketing departments. The Business Communications Centre aims to be a centre to demonstrate IP-communications technology. The Metro Centre Marketing department is a new department run under a business unit of Office Supply Group. It will do direct marketing related to IT products. To support this new department, the firm will utilise IP technology.

The firm last year reached revenue of Bt5.3 billion – 10 per cent more than in 2004.
