ITALIAN-THAI DEVELOPMENT (ITD) signed a Bt42-billion contract with the National Housing Authority to proceed with construction, in conjunction with Bhaka Bhumi Development Co Ltd, of the Baan Ua-Athorn housing project, also known as Turnkey III. The 100,000-unit project will consist of five-storey buildings, duplexes, two-storey houses and townhouses, together with related work on roads, pilings and power and water supplies. ITD’s portion is worth Bt35.33 billion.
KAEWSONG (2548) shareholders approved a voluntary delisting of the company’s securities from the Stock Exchange of Thailand.
LIGHTING & EQUIPMENT raised Bt77.35 million by selling 6.175 million new shares to the public at Bt12 each and 325,000 new ordinary shares to employees at Bt10 apiece. Funds raised will be used for expansion and as working capital. MBK announced that its indirect subsidiary, Aerostar Tours Co Ltd, has changed its name to MBK Fifth Avenue Co Ltd. SUPALAI raised Bt11.83 million after its warrants were exercised. Funds raised will be used for the construction of Supalai Grand Tower and as working capital. SAMITIVEJ HOSPITAL’s board of directors endorsed the sale of medical equipment to Bangkok Dusit Medical Services at a minimum price of Bt14 million.
