Fair expects to be more popular
The Information and Communications Technology Ministry expects the ICT Expo 2006 fair to attract more visitors than last year’s event.
The regional fair, which costs Bt20 million to organise, will be held at Muang Thong Thani’s Impact Convention Hall on August 26. The ministry will hold road shows in Germany, Australia and Singapore in March aimed at attracting foreign visitors. – The Nation. ----------------------------------------------------------- AMEX/CRC PACT: Tech deal inked American Express has inked a three-year contract with Central Retail Corp (CRC) to provide electronic data-capture (EDC) services. American Express will equip Central and Robinson department stores and branches of Power Buy, B2S, Supersports, HomeWorks and Office Depot with new point-of-sale terminals that accept both magnetic and chip cards.
