Thailand and Russia will soon enjoy visa exemptions as part of bilateral efforts to promote tourism, trade and communication, Thai Foreign Minister Kantathi Suphamongkhol said yesterday. As of now, Thais going to Russia need to apply for a visa while Russians can apply for visas on arrival. Moscow allows visa exemption only for diplomatic passports.
