Danai Udomchoke booked a spot in the semi-final of the US$50,000 (Bt2 million) USTA Challenger Champaign-Urbana in Champaign, Illinois on Thursday.

The sixth-seeded Danai dismissed Nathan Healey of Australia in straight sets 6-4 6-2 to set up a showdown with big-serving American Jeff Morrison, who registered a 7-6 (7-5) 1-6 6-2 victory over Ivo Heuberger of Switzerland.

In Nurioopta, Australia, Tamarine Tanasugarn lost to sixth-seeded Casey Dell’acqua of Australia 6-4 6-0 in the quarter-finals of the US$25,000 KIA International Challenger yesterday. - The Nation.
