BIG & BIH: High export hopes

The Home Decoration Association expects the Bangkok International Gift Fair and Bangkok International Housewares Fair (BIG & BIH 2005) to drive home-decoration exports to the Bt15.5-billion mark this year, up 12 per cent over last year, said association president Pattheya Pasucharatpong.

BIG & BIH 2005 will run from next Monday to October 22 at Impact Arena Muang Thong Thani. Importers from new markets like Russia, Brazil and Mexico will be on hand.

Currently, 60 per cent Thai home decoration exports are shipped to Europe, 30 per cent to the US and the rest to other countries. – The Nation.

Lalin Property Plc will join with the Bank of Ayudhya to launch its latest marketing campaign: no interest for the first year to homebuyers. The deal will available from Saturday to November 15.

President Chaiyan Chakarakul said he expects the promotion to generate Bt400 million in sales, which would give the company a big boost in the final quarter of the year. – The Nation.
