Poly Plus Co, producer of Samakom Chom Dow (Club of Star Admirers) on Channel 3, yesterday announced an abrupt end to its 10-year-old variety show after co-host Kataleeya McIntosh surprised her fans with the news that she is pregnant.

The show will be replaced with a new programme, yet to be named, to debut on September 14. It will be hosted by Kataleeya’s brother, Willy, and a different female co-host every week.

After discussing the matter with BEC World Co – Channel 3’s operator – the producers cancelled the programme because they found it difficult to find a host to replace Kataleeya.
