Sanam Luang campaign revived
A city administration campaign to keep homeless people and prostitutes out of Sanam Luang between 11pm and 5am is back in effect again, starting last night. Noppadol Savigamin, chief of Phra Nakhon district whose jurisdiction covers the Sanam Luang grounds, said the campaign was necessary to restore orderliness and minimise the crime rates coming with prostitution and unauthorised entry into the compound by homeless people.
