lThe Stock Exchange of Thailand yesterday granted Advance Securities a brokerage licence. It starts operations today.
lTisco Asset Management yesterday launched the open-ended Tisco Extra Income Fund 2. The fixed-income fund will invest in government bonds, treasury bills and Bank of Thailand bonds. The initial public offering period runs from today to September 12. The minimum investment is Bt20,000.
lAxa Group has emerged as the top Fortune 500 asset-management company and is ranked No 13 in the world’s largest-corporations category. The rating is based on data from last year. Axa Group’s profit grew 175.5 per cent to US$3.13 billion (Bt540 billion) on $122 billion in revenue, an increase of 8.7 per cent from 2003. lMillea Life Insurance joined forces with BankThai yesterday to launch a product called “Happy Retirement”. Starting from today, the product will only be available via the bancassurance channel at 108 BankThai branches nationwide.
