After being separated 18 years ago from her biological mother, a young woman flew from Canada to meet her for the first time on the Mother’s Day yesterday in Uttaradit’s Muang district. Boonruam “Laura” Chankhampa, 18, prepared a jasmine garland to give her mother Jumpee Chankhampa, who suffers from mental illness and has been under the care of Boonruam’s 83-year-old grandmother, Lah Chankhampa, for more than a decade.
Thaksin confident TRT spats are over
