-ELECTRICITY PLANT: TGCI, Elco Power join forces
Thai-German Ceramic Industry Plc (TGCI) has joined forces with Elco Power System Ltd in a major co-generation plant project at the Nong Khea Industrial Estate.
The plant will generate 11.3 megawatts of electricity and process heat utilising natural gas as fuel. It is being developed to allow TGCI to increase its production capacity and improve its overall electric-power generating efficiency. The plant will also utilise exhaust heat, meaning the company will not have to source electricity from the grid and burn natural gas to produce heat. Elco Power Systems has been engaged in the project from the feasibility-analysis stage. --------------------------- -JOINT VENTURE: Canadoil teams with LaBarge Canadoil Group has entered into a joint venture with LaBarge Pipe and Steel Co from St Louis, Missouri.
