COMPANY REPORTS

Published on June 24, 2005

BANKTHAI reported that it sold 1 million shares of TMB Asset Management at Bt28 per share. It sold 562,500 shares to TMB Bank, 125,000 to Thai Ocean Life Insurance, 125,000 to Prudential TSLife Assurance and 187,500 to DBS Bank. The bank will use the Bt28 million to fund operations.

------------------------------------

DCON PRODUCTS’ committee approved a plan to abandon a Bt20-million plan to build serviced apartments in the Orrada project. Instead it will use the Bt20 million to build low-cost housing in Lop Buri province. These houses are for low-income earners and also for DCON staff, who live and work in the area.

------------------------------------

EASTERN WATER RESOURCES DEVELOPMENT AND MANAGEMENT’s board approved plans to invest in a Bt2.3-billion pipeline project between Chachoengsao and Chon Buri provinces to meet demand which has been rising at 15 per cent a year. The pipeline, slated for completion in 2006, will serve both industrial and domestic consumers in Chon Buri by transferring 50 million cubic metres of water per year from the Bang Pakong River to the Bang Pra Reservoir.

------------------------------------

SAHA PATHANA INTER-HOLDING reported that it earned a Bt477,541 profit after SPT Polymer, a company in which it owns 20 per cent, said it would close.

------------------------------------

UNIVENTURES clarified that it had never said in any interviews that it plans to switch from the chemical to the property sector.

The company is still focused on both the chemical and investment businesses, which it said was in the best interest of its shareholders.
