Lamps, loveseats, tables, vases, mirrors – the wealth of many nations go on display at an expo in Hong Kong

The products at the Hong Kong Houseware Fair reflect what people need in a modern urban lifestyle. When space is limited, people don’t have the luxury of displaying large items and have to resort to everyday items, like stylish teapots, lamps, CD holders, glassware and crockery, to reflect their personalities. And designers showcased their ideas for chic routine products.

The Hall of Elegance, the highlight of the event, attracted fans of retro style. There were European-style tables and iron vases from Hong Kong’s Manhattan Furniture and Accessories Ltd. From R Designs Handicraft Int’l in the Philippines came a handcrafted love seat made of abaca leaf, while chic coffee cups were displayed by Gerber Far East 1959 Ltd.
