[DARTS] The Bangkok Darts League (BDL) has joined hands with ThaiOil Darts Club and Thaimatic Electric Dartbords and Game Machines to hold a two-day charity tournament this weekend at the ThaiOil Sports Club in Sri Racha, with support from Beer Chang Draft.

A minimum of not less than Bt10,000 will be donated to the Pattaya School for the Blind in Naklua. Khru Saravudh, vice-principal, will be on hand to receive the donation. Besides prizes, there will be trophies for all top places. Only Beer Chang draft will be available during the tournament.

Throughout the day, four electronic dartboards will provide “Lucky Draw” best-of-3 legs knockout for the losers at Bt100 entry fee per player. There will be 16 ordinary dartboards and a final stand on stage.

Blade-clip dartboards at present retailing at Bt2,000 will be sold for Bt1,500 after the tourney ends. First pay first get.

On January 22, the fixed doubles will open for registration at 10am at Bt600 entry fee per pair. Prizes up to 8th place. Doubles (501 best-of-3 legs) round robin; then best-of-5 legs knockout.

This will be followed by the four-player team event with entry fee at Bt1,200 per team . Prizes up to 8th place. Format 1001 best-of-3 legs round robin, then best-of-3 legs knockout.

On January 23, the Open Singles will be open for registration at 10 am. Both men and women are eligible to play and prizes up till 16th place. (501 best-of-3 legs) round robin then best-of-5 legs knockout.

The women’s singles will follow and prizes will depend on the number of players who register. Entry fee for both singles events is Bt300 per player.
